Pretty Kitties

The mom loves how different all our profiles are!  She thinks we are all handsome in our own way.

You can tell Carl and Julie are brother and sister.  Carl's face is the shorter one.  Julie's is a little longer and a lot fluffier!

 

Mica Minnie Moo has a beautiful, classic profile.  Then there are her stunningly beautiful blue eyes!

Oui Oui has a funny little profile - 

an overbite with no chin which we find adorable.  

She's our little cutie!

A Valentine!

First, yes, the mom is a slacker!  Here it is 2 weeks after Valentine's Day & she's finally typing this for me.  Its so hard to get good help!  Sparkle sent me a Valentine.  I was really excited because I've never gotten any mail before.

 Here it is!  Isn't it cute?  And its LENTICULAR!

We've Been Tagged!

Our good friends at Animal Shelter Volunteer Life tagged us.  We are so excited because we admire their work, and think they are really great kitties and people!  So, here we go, Oui Oui is fielding the questions:

1 - Describe yourself in 7 words:  Happy, playful, sweet, cuddly, patient, hard-working, chinless.
2 - What keeps you up at night?  Julie & Mica Moo trying to kill each other from under the door.
3 - Who would you like to be?  A box manufacturer or a paper shredder/ recycler

4 - What are you wearing now?  Grrr - tiger stripes!
5 - What scares you?  Julie & MIca Moo trying to kill each other from under the door.  Also, the big sucky monster.

6 - The best and worse of blogging?  The best:  All the wonderful kitties and people I've met!  The worst:  When a friend goes over the Bridge.
7 - What is the last website you visited?  Youtube (Annoying Orange)!  The mom made me!  I can't wait for her to get over that kick.
8 - What is the one thing you would change about yourself?  Nothing, my family loves me the way I am.
9 - Slankets, yes or no?  Yes, YES, YES!  I LOVE climbing inside anything soft, warm and fuzzy for a nap!

10 - Tell us something about the dogs, cats and/ or people who tagged you.  Animal Shelter Volunteer Life is a blog about the kitties who live at a non-profit, PAWS, while waiting for a new family to love.  PAWS takes in kitties who are passed over or refused by the Humane Society.  They tend to them in sickness, rehabilitate them if necessary, and keep them as long as it takes to find a loving home.  Rarely do they turn away a kitty, and none are put to sleep.  I just think the world of them for their good work!  They have saved thousands of kitties who would have had no where else to go.  As an extra bonus they use the cutest photo of a grey kitty, Graphite, in a neck tie!  Any time we wear clothes here, our bones get stolen but Graphite holds his head high.  Who couldn't love him?

Brothers & Sisters

At the Tabby Cat Club, they are having an event:  Sisfurs and Brothers - Love 'Em or Leave 'Em.  Well, depending which kitty you ask here at Twinkletoe Tails, you'd get many answers cause we have our preferences.  Some love each other, one of us hates everyone!

When the Girl went to Collich, the mom replaced her with a meezer!  The mom always said she would!  Since she adopted Mica Minnie Moo to keep me company and so I'd have a playmate, she is my very own pet kitty!  And you know how folks are about their pets.  MMM and I are very close.

We are excited to announce we won the All Around Wonderful Blog Award!  We are so honored!  Our good friends at Mewsings of Garden Cottage Cats awarded it to us.  If you are not familiar with their blog, stop by and visit.  Its a gorgeous blog, the mom there certainly has an eye for beauty.  Their house and gardens, not to mention the kitties, are exquisite.  Even the computer mouse leaves a trail of fairy dust on their blog.  (Plus their handsome mancat Gabriel is Julie's sweetie!  We told you they have an eye for beauty!).  They are also very sweet, even Penelope!

So the rules for this award are:

This is always the hard part!  Who do you pick to pass it along to?  Its so hard to decide because there are so many deserving kitties to choose from. For this award, we would like to honor some kitties who have been our friends for a long time (at least, for us - we haven't been around all that long).  So we picked Hannah and Lucy, The Island Cats and the Meowers from Missouri.  We've known these kitties for as long as our blog has been around, and their amusing antics brighten our days.  (We hope you haven't already received this award.)

Flashback Friday

We were going to do a longer "Flashback Friday" featuring some Former Formerly Ferals, but the mom decided to hijack part of this post to RANT!

So here is the nice part!  These are some of our kitties who came before.

 This is Kimba, not actually a Former Feral,
but he was unwanted until the Mom saw him.

 This handsome classic silver tabby was Hobbes, Kimba's brother.
What a cute face!

  The mom's first cat was a stray she named Leia.

A month later she had 4 kittens.

Here are 3 of them, from left to right they are Shadow, Figaro and Attila.

 The mom kept Attila.  He had blue eyes that flashed red and was not deaf.
(That box seems to be popular!)

 Here is the Girl with Minnie Pumpkin,
a true feral who was born under a porch.

 This is Toby, another feral who was born in a barn.

Now for the rant!  WHAT are those Google people thinking making it so difficult to leave comments with their 30 character verifications that no one can read??!!!  Whoever came up with that one should be taken outside and whipped!  If you have time, write to them and complain.  I did, but there is strength in numbers.

In the meantime, do all your friends a favor and turn off that feature by going to Settings, then Comments.  Under Comments go to "Show word verification for comments?" and click "No".  Don't forget to save your settings.  This will turn off the word verification.  Its so easy!  I've had my word verification turned off almost as long as this blog has been up and I don't get any spam.

All the kitties are celebrating!  This is Oui Oui's idea of a holiday cause she loves everyone!

Love is in the air!

Julie sends sweet kitty kisses and purrs to Gabriel, one of the Garden Cottage Cats.  Who could blame her?  Such a handsome and charming mancat!  They have a hot date hunting mousies then sitting by a romantic fire sharing a nip stogie!  She declines to say more cause a lady never kisses and tells.  She's blowing kisses to Gabriel until they see each other later.

Carl dreams of his first kiss with the Tiki Cat cat food kitty!

While Mica Minnie Moo wonders if there's a mancat who can handle wild Meezer love.
