Thankful Thursday

We had a BlogPaws giveaway a couple weeks ago and Mewsings of Cottage Garden Cats was one of the winners.  If you've never visited their blog, it is worth the trip.  Not only is it one of the most beautiful blogs, but they just adopted a new kitten, Aurora Rose.

Aurora Rose just became a Cottage Garden Cat.
She's nine weeks old, and there are some sweet pix of her posted.

So imagine our surprise when the mom came home last Thursday and there was a package on the porch!  It was a thank you package from the kitties of the Cottage Garden Cats!  What sweethearts they are!

We had some wild weather last Thursday and a tornado touched down near our home.  The rain was so fierce, it damaged the package and rained a hole in it.
The mom took it straight to the bathroom.  Everything was soaked and there was even a puddle of water inside.  Fortunately, their mom is much better at packing things up than our mom so the contents were fine.

You can see Julie's stogie was wet on three sides.

There was something for everyone!  Tea, lavender syrup and a beautiful tea ball for the mom, Catnip spray for Carl, Nip Puffs for MMM, 3 Blind Mice for Oui Oui and of course, a stogie for Julie!

Our feeble minded mom packed up and sent them MMM's Pill Pockets by mistake and they so very kindly returned them without our asking.  How very thoughtful!

The stogie packaging separated from being wet.  Naturally, Oui Oui was the first on the scene since its her job to check everything for safety.
One whiff of those Nip Puffs, and she became all purry and started rubbing on everything in an ADHD sort of way.  The mom and her poor "camera" couldn't get a decent shot.  But then, for that you would need a decent camera, not a phone!
That's some potent stuff!  Thank Cod we are all of legal age!  Rubbing, rubbing . . .
 . . . and more rubbing.

The Puffs were really MMM's gift from Lolly.  MMM is a little shy because she is still wearing her soft collar.  Her meds were changed again and when the mom tried taking off the collar, she scratched her temples bloody again.  We are just trying to keep her comfortable until she goes to the vet's on Saturday.

Carl checked everything out and immediately fell in love with the Nip Puffs.
Sorry, MMM, they are now mine!  He ran all over the room, batting it and carrying it around.  Sadly, the mom and her "camera" couldn't keep up.

Carl ran off with three of them and he is still bumping around under the bed playing with them and purring!  You were right, Lolly!  They are the bestest!

Hey!  Stay away from the Puffs!  I've claimed those!
Keep your Puffs!  I know what I like!  There's something here so much better than any old puff.
Mmmmm, nothing compares to the sweet aroma and taste of a nip stogie!  Thank you so much!  Oui Oui ran off with what was left of my last one.

This is the way to my heart!  Thank you, Larry, Sammy, Lolly and my sweet Gman!  You knew what I love the most.

The beautiful card didn't get wet, but the kitties wrote little notes on each item and the notes were blurry from the rain so we didn't show pix of them.  And we couldn't get a picture of Oui Oui playing with her mice, but she loved them too.

We have said it many times, we have been so blessed because we have met the nicest kitties and their peeps since we have started blogging!  We are truly thankful for having met all of you.  Thank every one of you for everything.

Especially, thank you to our good furriends at the Garden Cottage Cats, and their sweet, kind mom.  She is one of the most thoughtful, charming and funniest people we know.  You really made our day, and put a smile on our faces and in our hearts!   God bless you and thanks once more.  Purrs, dearest friends!

It was so nice of them to send you a package!! It looks like everyone got something nice :) We hope you enjoy!

Does someone eat pill pockets there? If so, I have two packages of them - they've both been opened, but they should still be good. There are some chicken ones and nearly a whole bag of the salmon ones. Jewel refuses to eat them and Carmine and Milita don't take any pills. I hate to just throw them out if someone can use them. If you want, I can send them to you. It might take a couple of weeks to get in the mail because I don't get out a lot, but I'm happy to send them your way. Just e-mail your address if you'd like them.

I don't know if the offer is still open, but I'd like to talk about Jewel's CRF. You can reach me through my e-mail - fureverywhere [at] gmail [dot] com.

Purrs,
Carmine, Milita, and Jewel
