THE BED BUGS ARE BACK!

OMC!  Just when everything seems nice and cozy the weather takes a cold turn and before you know it, we have bed bugs!

There's a suspicious lump in the covers that occasionally starts to move.

Sometimes it has appendages.

And usually an entrance hole where the bugs crawl in.

Wait a minute for your eyes to adjust.

And you can see the little critters, all snug and warm.

Well, hello, Oui Oui!

Judging from all the purrs, 

you must be really comfy in there!

A Wordy Wordless Wednesday

and a couple spits too,

just for good measure.

(Just in case someone can help, when we click on the insert image icon, a big empty box comes up, and that is it.  And it just sits there, looking big and empty, and not allowing us to do anything cause there are no icons for us to click on to do anything.)


UPDATE:  In addition, we have not been able to leave comments at Timmy Tomcat, Hannah & Lucy's, Pat Hatt and another blog the old mom can't remember.  Google isn't recognizing we are "signed in".  Is Mars in retrograde???  Or is it Mercury?  Our apologies, we tried commenting.  Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Some of My Favorite Things

Today I am hosting an event at the Tabby Cat Club, My Favorite Things - My Way.  You might be familiar with the song, My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music.  We kitties are singing all about our favorite things.  Here is my rendition:

Gravy on kibble and whapping on sisters,

Playing THoE til we all have blisters

Catching mousies and tangling up strings

These are a few of my favorite things.

Scratching in boxes then waking the mom

Snuggling under blankies and licking her palm

Hiding in dark spots, ripping up box springs

These are a few of my favorite things.

When the mom yells

When the blog froze

When I'm sad a tad

I simply remember my favorite things

And then I don't feel so bad!

I hope you liked my singing!  I usually leave that to Carl, being a very quiet kitty myself - except during car rides and baths.  Don't forget to stop by the Tabby Cat Club to hear more of your favorite tabby friends singing about what they love most.
