It Snowed! FINALLY!

Our first snow of the season.

Enough, but not too much!

It snowed last night and there was some freezing rain.  The big freak snowstorm in October missed us.  Folks a little to the north got a few inches, but we are close enough to the Chesapeake Bay that it influences our weather.  We tend to be on the dividing line between rain and snow.  Not that we kitties mind, we despise the snow!

I climbed under my little blanket and I'm not coming out!

We wish a wonderful weekend to all!  Have fun no matter what you do!

You are very smart! There are only two things to do when it snows. Find a warm place. Nap.

We hope it doesn't snow here - it's very cold on little paws. Mum complains more than us - we don't know why cos she takes a shovel for company!!

Hugs to you all and your Julie, too and thanks a bunch for coming by our bloggie and wishing Julie a happy birthday yesterday.

The Chesapeake Bay area is where she grew up but still remembers a lot of snow then. Today, snuggle up, stay warm and have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,
Tom & Mittens

Can't say I blame you. Snow is fun for a while but then it gets too cold.

Blankets are awesome anytime, but especially during snow time!

Yes, you are very smart just staying covered up. I would too. it's been snowing about every other day here too - just enough to have to deal with it, mom says.

That sure is a great place to be under that blanket. That snow is very cold on the paws. Have a nice warm and cozy day.

Welcome to winter! We've had it for a little while and it's pretty darn cold, too.

Freezing rain is dangerous, though. Both my husband and my neighbour fell due to ice -- she broke her wrist and he dislocated his shoulder.

I know you kitties stay inside, but tell your humans to be very careful when they go outside.
