MONSTER MONDAY

One morning last week, the mom put us in bedrooms and shut the doors!  A little while later we started hearing loud noises!

 Holy Cow!  WHAT was that?!

What WAS that?

The noise went on for hours.  Strange men ran in and out of the house for hours.  The mom "worked from home" on her laptop for hours.  And we hid under the bed for hours!

We finally worked up the courage to look out the Kitty TV and this is what we saw:

Look at that monster!

It can dig bigger holes than Mica Minnie Moo in the litter box!

The end product!

All for this.

When they were done digging, they put a pipe at the bottom of the hole.  Then they covered it up.  They used a metal monster that made even more noise than the first monster.  More time UTB!  The ground was packed down hard when they were done.  Finally, near dinner time, they left.  What a RELIEF!

Who knows why they came out and ruined our day.  We could have been snoozing, playing, enjoying the sun puddles but instead we were UTB.  All day.  The mom said something about the front looking like a broken water main if they didn't do that - whatever that's sposed to mean.  Well, we don't like water anyway.

The meanest part that really hurt our feelings is the mom KNOWS how much we like digging holes and burying things.  And she didn't even ask us.  Oh, NO!  We would have been a lot quieter too!  Even if we meowed at the top of our lungs the whole time.  The mom earned 4 paws down that day.

That was a lot of earth for you all to move and no doubt you would have had very sore paws so perhaps it was as well that you didn't have to dig. We hope when you had all calmed down you managed to force the odd mouthful of food down.

I bet that was so scary, all that noise. That looks like a major job. We are glad that your cute little paws were not doing the digging. Hope all of you have a great day.

We hate when strange mens come and make lots of noise! We're so glad you all survived that!!

(Our mom says that same thing happened to her house a long time ago and she had to get a repair like that. Fortunately, we weren't around then.)

Strangers and loud noises are the worst! I totally agree that you would have done a much better job. Your mom really messed up your day. I sure hope she's made it up to you. Party Mix always goes a long way toward forgiveness in my book.

At least (1) you were safe and (2)they were done by dinner time. These humans do strange things sometimes, don't they?

Wow - think of all the money mom could have saved if she just would have let you have a go at digging the hole.

I'm sure you could have done a better job. But don't you think it would have cut into your nap-food-grooming time? It's best to leave the hard labor to the humans.

You guys could have done a way better job! But that noise and strange men ordeal sounds very scary. UTB is the best place to be when things get scary!
