Thank you for all the good wishes, Christmas cards and notes of encouragement. We truly regret we didn't reciprocate, but there wasn't time or the energy. The surgery was not as easy as the mom hoped for. The first couple days were agonizing. She tried going to work a couple days later, but was so tired she crashed in the evenings. Thankfully, The Girl was home from college and helped out. However, she seemed to think she had a right to steal kitties to sleep with at night! The nerve!
We hope we will be back to commenting and posting as usual very soon. Thanks for your patience. Our prayers and purrs are with you as we wish you the best year yet.

Happy New Year to you. So sorry you had to have surgery and it's taking awhile to mend. That seems to be how it is when we are forced to slow down. I'm cracking up on the picture of Oui Oui. I am so very sorry to hear that the surgery didn't go as well as hoped. I hope you can give yourself time to rest and recuperate. Here I was thinking that this was going to be a breeze (but was wondering because of not seeing you guys for a while). Mommy said to tell you that;s why I haven't been around. My favorite brother is still in the hospital and she's gone most of the days. I think she said he has finally just about turned the corner. So we will all catch up with one another, kitties, by and by.

Can you tell we're catching up after the holiday? Our grandhuman was in the hospital for 6 days and just got out, so we're back to reading blogs again. Oh we're SO sorry to hear the surgery was rough. Purrs that you begin feeling better real soon!!!
