Spencer Has A Home!

We wanted to drop a line letting you know Spencer has a new home!

There aren't too many details, but Jan's Funny Farm says a heart broken family who recently lost their 16 year old kitty has taken him in.  According to his relinquishing owner, he is adjusting very nicely, having found a warm spot on the bed!  There's no doubt in our minds Spencer's new family will love and cherish him.

What a sweet ending!  We were so concerned, but we knew someone would want him, it was a matter of connecting with them.  Our biggest worry was anyone who could give him up that easily could just as easily drop him off at the pound if that connection wasn't made fast enough.  Now we ARE going to have a great weekend.  And we hope you do the same.

Purrs, and many deeply felt thanks to our friends who posted & tweeted to help make this happen.

So, so relieved that Spencer now has a good home. I was very disappointed and sad that someone would give up a kitty who has shared his life for 10 years.

All best wishes to Spencer and his new family. Hope they will cherish him as he deserves.

I'd still like to pee on that man. And then poop on his feet.

Thanks for sharing this great news, which is cheering indeed. You did great making this happen!

Thank you also so very much for your kind note about Lucy. Yes, the money. We've spent a lot on our cats over the years goodness knows on medical expenses but this is by far the most. It creates a lot of anxiety that's for sure. Anyway, I appreciate the support!

It made us very happy when we heard the good news. We don't know how anyone could give up a kitty they have shared their life with for 10 years. We hope his new home give him all the loving he deserves.

THANK GOODNESS!!!

God Bless the wonderful family who took this precious boy in. I am so sorry for their loss but they were rewarded for their kindness by getting a wonderful boy who should never have been cast aside. Now at least Spencer's heart won't be hurting and he and his new family will love and cherish each other, as it should be!

I am so happy to read that precious Spencer got a home. I wonder if that man who had him is willing to post a picture of Spencer in his new home? I am still concerned. I wish I were not. Xxxooo

When Mom read about Spencer I had to my paw up so she would not say any bad words. Very happy that Spencer found a happy new home and family.

The Ravens are doing great, huh? Here's hoping they keep it up!

Once upon a Sunday bleary
While we suffered, sore and weary,
Through a first half that was dreary,
Forty-Niner fans felt teary;
Of a comeback they had nearly
Lost all hope, so sad, my Dearie.

But those Ravens, they got leery
Of a force that did not merely
Give up so soon and in fact nearly
Stopped those Birds from being cheery!

Alas, the Ravens had some steel at their core
And the Niners had to face it--they'd prevail...nevermore.

Good game, eh?
