BTW, we wanted to mention that Sedums (being clumping plants) can safely be divided into smaller half or even quarter pieces with a spade and moved. Just set the remainder piece in the center of the old hole and fill with some existing and compost mixed together. Set the newly-divided parts in the new places with the same existing and compost mix and they will thrive.
