Watz Up Labor Day Weekend?

For the kitties in the US its a long holiday weekend celebrating the end of summer and working stiffs like the mom! Since I only do what I want, I'm not sure if I qualify, but I'm ready to do my part.

The mom went to her sister's little farm for a cook out.  She came back with a hurted foot (stumbled over an exposed tree root) and some sad news.  Her sister had a tabby, Gumdrop, for many years and he crossed the Bridge earlier this summer.  I was bequeathed his warm kitty blankie.  Inside is a crinkly sounding metallic space blankie so its soft, warm and sounds too cool!

Sweet dreams, sweet Gummy!
I'm celebrating in a way you would appreciate.

Of course everyone here is celebrating:

 Carl is just hanging out.

 Julie is exploring.

And MMM is letting her hair down.

Have fun everyone!  Enjoy your holiday and weekend!

I'm sorry Gumdrop went to the Bridge, but it was kind of him to share his blankie.

It's a long weekend here as well because it was the country's Independence Day on Friday...but Mommy was busy all weekend so we didn't even get our post up on the TCC!
We're sure Gumdrop loves that his crinkly blankie is being used! Enjoy the rest of your weekend, effuryone!

On no, we are so sorry about Gumdrop. But we are glad that you get to share the blanket. Also sorry about Mom's hurt foot. She is just not having a good time right now. Be sure to tell her that things will get better. You kitties, take good care of that Person of yours. Glad she recognized Maggie. Take care and have a great day tomorrow.

We are sure Gumdrop is happy his blanket is providing more sweet dreams.

May Ling wants to know if SHE might be made into crumb pie like MMM; Scouty has been teasing her lately, telling her that TortieMeezers make the BEST filling! Like chocolate caramel peanut butter...

A nice blankie is good after the sad times and the best way to recycle. Purrs to all!

Hi Oui Oui! We sure are sorry to hear about your mom's hurty foot, and about Gumdrop having to go to the Bridge. How nice that he passed his favorite blankie on to you, though.

Happy and restful Labor Day to you all, dear friends.

I sorries about your mommy's hurry foot. Maybe you all can lay on it to help it feel all better. Carl, you are looking wonderful and so are the rest of you. xxoox

Sorry to hear that your Mom hurt her foot and that your cousin went to the Bridge. However, I'm sure that Gumdrop is thrilled to see you enjoyed his blankie. I'm sure that makes your Mom feel good, too.

You guys sure know how to have a laidback celebration! Party on!
