A Special License Plate

When we first started blogging a year ago, there were a couple of cute kittens who caught our eye.  The first one was Mahoney.  We remember Marg finding her after finding her mom, Maggie, and the sad story of Mahoney's litter mates.

The other kitten was Kizzie at Kizzie Cat.  Kizzie had an adorable little face that could melt stone.  One day not too long ago the mom was driving home from work and saw a car with a license plate that read "Kizzie"!  She was so excited, she had to take a picture.  Good thing no cops were around!

You may need to biggify to see the license plate.

There are some new kittens this year of course, and we love and enjoy them all, but Mahoney and Kizzie are special to us because they were the first.

Purrs to everyone and enjoy your weekend!  To our US furriends, have a great Labor Day!  To the ones in the South & Midwest, we hope Isaac is kind to you and doesn't cause too many problems.  We are a little jealous of the rain you are getting (not the wind though) and hope some of it comes this way.  Maybe on Monday or Tuesday they are saying.  Just about this time last year we were dealing with a different hurricane, Irene . . .

We know what you mean about *special* furriends. Zoolatry was one of our first. They are so special to us. We are nearly blowing away from Isaac here in Oklahoma, but very excited for the chance of rain!

Yep, you never forget who your first furiends were. What makes us sad, though, is that some of our first furiends are no longer blogging. We miss them.

Have a great weekend!!

I was so worried about Mahoney a few weeks ago when she got sick! I am so glad she is better now.

Wow, cats can drive now? That's awesome! Should I tell Leo? He has enough toes to work a stick shift even..

That's so true. We will always remember our first furriends who made us feel welcome and encouraged us to continue blogging. :)

Wow, thanks from Mahoney for those kind words. We love Kizzie too. We watched her grow up too. That is fun to watch them grow up. Glad we are such good friends. Take care.

We can remember when we did our first blog post we were so worried no one would do a comment. Fortunately that wasn't the case and now we have lots of lovely friends.

I wonder what those people would think if they say you taking a photo of their car, MOL. I know Mahoney but not Kizzie. Will have to introduce myself!

We love Mahoney and Kizzie, too! That's pretty cool that your mom got a picture of that plate. And yes, good thing there were no cops looking when she did. :)

That is a great plate! We wish we had our own too.
Our silvervine pillow has arrived, and thank you for the springs too. I am having lots of fun bunny kicking the pillow and Eric was stalking the springs at first because it was something new and might attack him.
Purrs and thanks from E&F

Yes, the blogging friends are the bestest of the best! We always hold them near and dear. Thanks for your suggestion that our destination trip this year be in the Easter Island. I don't know where this is but sounds like a great place. I will let you know where we are going after the drawing and I announce it in a post.
