This is Oui Oui's hang out, with all her beloved scratchers and her food bowl.
I'm not sure I am really looking forward to having my lovely furs evened up.
But I will be glad when the mom stops calling me a "scrawny little thing". How nervy!
What do you think she should do?
I'm worried no matter what she does
I'm going to look more like an alien mutant than MMM.
There is going to be drama here when she goes to the vets for mutantitis!
Coming to you soon!

You have NO IDEA how much my Human would LOVE to get her hands all over you and rub up that beautiful short-furred little bod!! I find you very smexay right now -- is it hot in here?
Poor baby! Mom Paula works on us every day (sometimes twice a day) to keep us mat-free. Brulee gets mats terribly and sometimes it takes several days to work on one mat.
Day by day,
Row by row,
Yer gonna get yer furs ta grow...
Julie, I am so glad I am not in your boat. I have silky, medium-length fur that does not mat... and I LOVE being brushed! Having to go to the hairdressers sounds like almost as big a nightmare as going to the vet.
Isn't that already a lion cut you have, Julie? #1 remembers once visiting a Persian cattery and all the queens had lion cuts!
Purrs,
The Chans
Oh, but you must feel ever so much better, being mat-free! Plus your skin would be very soft to touch. Whatever your human does, you'll still be beautiful YOU!
We had the same issue with Sister Sascha and she loved her lion cut and was so happy those mats we gone.
Well if you go all lion, you will sure be head of the pack. But a poodle cut, that would be embarrassing.
Lucy is smiling as she doesn't get matts but Hannah does of course. Mum keeps a tiny pair of scissors on a table next to where she sits to watch TV or read. Hannah always sits on her there and Mum snips a little bit at a time on any matts she finds - it can take quite some days to take little pieces off until she can snip it clean away. If she pulls Hannah gives her "the look" and she has to stop!!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
We think you are gorgeous just the way you are. What is it with humans anyway - they are always dashing us off somewhere not fun!
Heheheh! Funny!
Oh Julie, you poor, poor kitty. Please tell your mom to leave your beautiful furriness alone. Don't get some really stupid haircut! The short hair will eventually grow out. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
Julie
Mom says she is glad I have spikey furs. Manx coats are double and the worse things that happens to me is I get cling-ons.
