Count yourself very lucky if your mother is still alive. Perhaps you remember my mother died of leukemia last August, and this is my first Mother's Day without her. I miss her and think of her every day. There is no one who can ever take the place of your mom, so cherish her while you can.

Mom says she is sorry that your mom is no longer with you. She lost her mom at age 16 in 1965. Very hard to grow up and not have your mom participate in the milestones of your life!
