Furminator Shed Control Cloths Giveaway!

Hey kitties, we are back after being gone longer than we thought.  But look!  We are going to have a cool giveaway!

Furminator send us some of their new Shed Control Cloths to try out and were nice enough to send an extra pack for us to give away.

The cloths come packed in resealable pouches like baby wipes. They are two sided and moist, and really thick.  One side picks up loose fur to control shedding and the other side cleans the coat.  They can be used up to 3 times, so they can be repacked in their container.  They have special, proprietary three dimensional loops for picking up loose furs and are safe on furniture, fabrics and for daily use on cats.

The cloths come in resealable pouches.

We TwinkletoeTails kitties don't like being brushed except for on our backs, so the mom was interested in finding something she could use everywhere instead of a comb.  We are glad to say, all of us liked the cloths.  They might have wet us down a bit, but not one of us minded it.  In fact, we all purred through our grooming.

We aren't sure how well you can see the fur on the cloths, but they definitely picked up loose fur.  These are Oui Oui's fur and she isn't a big shedder.  The cloths aren't going to be a substitute for a comb when dealing with mats, but we think they do what they are intended to do - be an alternative way of dealing with grooming issues and loose fur.

You can see my furs were wet when the mom was done,
but I did enjoy it and purred the whole time.
When they dried, my furs felt and looked nice and clean!

Because the cloths are wet, we also think they would be good for removing things we curious kitties might get in our furs, but since none of us had done anything like that, we couldn't test them that way.

The mom did try them on Julie as a bath.  Her furs became greasy when she hurt her leg and she couldn't groom, and the cloth did clean her furs very nicely.  They felt nice the way they do after Julie visits her beauty salon.  And the mom just pretended she was giving her scratches.  However, she, Julie, doesn't have much patience so it might take another go or two to finish cleaning her tail without the risk of a nip.

My furs felt so good and no one was bitten!

All of us had nice clean furs as if we had been to the groomers, we didn't mind it all at and purred while being cleaned.  All in all, we think this is a good product to have on hand.  It picked up loose fur and is a great bath without a bath!  A paws up experience!  The mom says she will definitely be using this on us between de-matting grooming visits.

So are you interested and want to try some?  If so, leave a comment saying so and maybe you will be our lucky winner!  We'll use a random number generator and announce our winner on Friday.  So good luck, furriends!  Our giveaway is good for any kitty in any country.  Just one entry per blog.

We didn't receive anything in return for our review, except for the product to try and give away.  As always, our opinions are our own.

I could use these right this very minute! My human was trying to give me a dose of some holistic goop and more of it wound up on my fur than in my mouth! Now my cheek fur and ruff are an oily mess. I can only imagine what my human has in store for cleaning me up today! Ick...

BTW, I will have an email for you sometime Monday - finally!

Our Mum would like to try these please as Hannah can get get matts easily as she is semi-long haired and has a thick coat.
Mum sometimes has to cut a matt out as Hannah can get sticky from some of the plants in the garden.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

That really is a cool new idea!

Those wipes sound very interesting. Since Mommy grooms cats for a living (well, used to), she has no problems grooming us with the tools she have (including the FURminator!) so we won't be entering the giveaway. :)

I would like to take these to PAWS if I win. There are some older kitties there who might appreciate some gentle attention and could use the clean up!
Thanks!

Those wipes sound perfect for our squirmy group. Especially for Levon who wants nothing to do with brushing/grooming but who is always getting into "ick"!! :)

Hey now, that sounds like a product we could use! While we do love our brushies, one or two of us don't like belly or pantaloon brushies. Wouldn't you know that's where all the extra loose, icky fur hangs out? We hope to see these at our local pet store!

We would be most interested. We *amen* do have issues with poopy pants and it's no fun trying to clean Annabelle's massive floofs.

We would love to try these! Jewel's furs get greasy due her kidney problems, and she's been shedding like crazy lately with the warm weather, and it sounds like these clothes would take care of both issues at the same time :) I like to help Jewel keep her furs nice and soft and clean for her. <3

We are glad you all liked the clothes so much!

These cloths sound great! We would love to be entered into your giveaway. Caster is a terrible shedder. Combing him is difficult because he tried to attack the comb the entire time. Silly kitty! Love that they are wet to. It sounds like they might be good at getting rid of the icky slobbery smell my gang gets on themselves from bathing each other all the time! MOL!

We would love to win these. Laila could use some help with her furs as she is a full figure gal and it's hard to reach all the important spots.
