Pretty Snow

While the snow storm Friday really whapped some places, we had about 4-5 inches (10-13 cm).  It didn't cause too many problems, but our Fios went out most of the weekend, so there was no land line, telebision or innernets.  To make up for it, the scenery was so pretty!

It didn't look like much at first, because the porch is protected
and doesn't get as much snow.

What an incredibly beautiful sky!

The snow clinging to the trees is always so stunning.  Too bad that's the first snow to melt off.
While it's been really cold, the kitties are staying warm.

It might look like MMM still has scabs on her temples,
but she doesn't.
She won't let the mom stick her face close enough to see
if it's peach fuzz or just discoloration.
Now if she would just stop licking her sides,
they are looking a little moth eaten!
What a busy little cat she is,
she always has to be doing something!

So glad your sweet kitties are inside, safe and warm. It warms me to learn this on blogosphere.

And your photos are so pretty!

Pet lovers please check out my homeless cat blog archives for some informative posts and stories about the cat abandoned/feral colony I manage.

It really does look pretty out there! It would be great if Miss MMM would let something grow on those spots!

That snow is pretty to look at...but not much fun to be in! We got lots of it yesterday and now it is frigid cold! -13F right now!

Beautiful snow photos. I'm glad you're staying warm and cozy inside.

p.s. not that I'm giving your mom any ideas, but my mom would be looking at my temples with binoculars if I didn't let her get close enough.

Mommy says that snow is like...well...we aren't allowed to type those words.

MMM needs a hobby, like knitting.

We like Katnip Lounge's idea. Would MMM knit?

The snow is beautiful, but we are very glad not to have it here. It's in the 30s here this morning and we think the world has ended.

Those pictures of the snow are great. Snow is very pretty as long as you don't have to go out in it. Hope you all stay warm.

Keep your paws toasty warm and don't even think of going out.

We love those snow covered trees. They look so pretty! We're glad you are indoors and all nice and warm. :)

You're looking good, MMM!

It looks so pretty there. I wonder if you still have your snow. Here, yesterday it all washed away from all the rain we had. Now it's just very cold.

MMM always looks good to us. :)

That is very sad how the prettiest snow is the first to disappear! MMM is so adorable curled in her colorful afghan. Too bad she remains stressed and has to lick at herself. Hope that temple fur is growing back. Purrs and Hugs to all, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Very pretty but cold! We are dealing with that nasty Arctic air right now. BRRRR. We hope it never comes back. Ever ever ever.
