The Tale of Two Traumas, Part 2

This tale has a different victim than the mom and began Saturday morning.  After the drama of the night before, its a little anticlimactic.

The mom surreptitiously brought out the PTU and opened it.  Then at the last moment scooped up Mica Minnie Moo and plopped her in.  The kitties, especially MMM, who was squeaking and protesting loudly, knew this wasn't going to end well.

MMM in prison.

The VET was waiting.  Now after trying just about every calming product on the market to no avail, MMM is going on Kitty Prozac.

It was a beautiful early spring morning.

Will she have a better quality of life if she is a little calmer?  Will she relax enough to "de-martian", let her furs grow in, and her hackles down, but without her becoming a space cadet?  That is the hope.

The cows are out!
You can see them if you biggify the picture.

Poor girl squeaked all the way over, hid her face in the crook of the mom's arm then squeaked all the way back home.  She really is a gentle soul, and the mom didn't take pictures because she was busy soothing MMM.  Also, and more importantly, the two legged space cadet thought she left her "camera" in the car (it was in her coat pocket).

We really hope this works!

Can MMM go from this
And this

To this?

Hope MMM is better on her medication. Years and years ago, the humans had to put one of the doggies on that. She was much better after. MMM acts just like some of us when we need to go to the vet. It is so scary. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

We sure hope it works for MMM. Zoey is on prozac and it helps keep her more relaxed...and she isn't spacey or anything like that.

I think this is an excellent idea. Goodness knows, you have really tried everything. Oh, poor MMM, the gentle soul. What a blessing it would be to see her beautiful eyebrows back!

good lucks to you MMM. you deserve some bee-yoo-tee-ful and bushy eye brows. not that the whole martian-look isn't wunnerful (in a freaky sort of way) - but it's time for sumfing new.

p.s. - if teh Prozac don't work, try Rogaine.
