Attila with his mom, Leia.
The first story is from before the mom became a crazy cat lady. She was moving into her first apartment and only had 2 cats, Leia and Attila. While everything was being moved in, she put the kitties in the bedroom and closed the door. At the end of the day Attila was MIA. She searched the place several times, looked for him throughout the neighborhood and was in despair.

While searching the apartment one last time, she saw his tail hanging down from under the bed. He had ripped a hole in the bottom of the box springs then climbed inside to take a nap.

One other time, Attila did get out. He ran out the door with the mom right behind him. Attila ran down the side yard then climbed up the side of the house (it was stucco) and hung there when he couldn't get in the window. The mom climbed on the AC unit (luckily it was under the window and she was very brave, cause she is afraid of heights, and an AC unit qualities as a "height") and pulled him down. Disaster averted!

Attila sure knew how to give your mom a heart attack too.
We hope you get those warm spring days...we hope we do too...but that's probably unlikely.
Attila and Leia are precious. I loved the pics. So you've been getting grief from kitties for a long time. Sounds like Attila had some wanderlust.

My human could totally tell stories about the cat before me... but I think she may have a reason she isn't at the moment...
Tsk tsk tsk. We kitties is just Born Bad, aren't we? Heh heh.
Mommy is always very grateful we are all pretty greedy. It comes in very useful when she can't find us or when we *escape* (Cosmo, Ling, Boomer - so far). Ha ha!
Attila, you sound like a good hiding kitty. We have wrecked all the beds here and get up in the springs when we are scared. You sure are a handsome boy too. Take care.

Seems Attila was good at giving the mom heart attacks too.
Tee hee! It sounds like giving the mom a scare is a trait passed down to each new generation of kittehs there! :)
Have a great weekend, sweet friends!
So sweet! We love the Before stories. Thanks for sharing Attila and Leia with us! Purrs...
I loved your flashback and they sure were cuties!
Love these old pics!
This is a great flashback!
Attila you sure knew how to play hide and go seek!
That is a great story. Maybe we will try a story about those from before. We will give you credit fur the idea.
Dad took the frame out from under the bed as we used to all climb in the box spring. He has a really thick foam mattress so the height is right.
Sure glad you didn't tear that waterbed and get an unexpected bath, Attila. You sound like Astrid when she gets out She gets really scared. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on my head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
