** SIGH **

Long time readers must have seen some of the mom's lists of things I won't eat; lists that run about 2 paragraphs long.  Then the mom snaps a picture of me walking across the bed, and makes a comment about how chubby I've gotten.  Well, which is it???

Me walking from one side of the bed to the other.

That weird thing in the upper right corner of the top photo
is the mom's 50s style cat clock.
The tail wags, the eyes open & close.
Of course,
she has one of the other style of kitty clocks too.

In other news, the "big" snow storm we were supposed to get, along with 20-35 mile/ hour winds, has come and gone.  Instead of 13 inches (33 centimeters), we got maybe 2 inches.  They were warning people to stay off the roads, so the mom worked from home, and she didn't even have to shovel because the snow didn't stick to the pavement.  The power company called before the storm warning everyone to be ready for wide spread power outages. That didn't happen either.  Another bullet dodged!

You guys need a break on the weather after last summer!

We think your Mom must be delusional on BOTH counts; you obviously are not starving, AND we thing your girlish figger is mighty fine.

Paws up for an uneventful snow day! My human covets your human's cat clock, BTW.

We're glad that the "storm" turned out to be a non-event. Those are the best kind.

And Oui Oui, chubby you are not. It was definitely the camera angle.

Love the clock! Yay for uneventful 'snow storm'. Best that way. We kitties don't even know what snow looks like. We get heat waves, but it is generally OK if we keep indoors with plenty of ice water.

Oui Oui, you are NOT chubby. You should see gutsy Charlotte.....

Yeay for the "snow storm" that did not happen. What a relief.
Mommy absolutely loves that cat clock! We aren't sure we want a wierd cat up on that way that blinks and wags it's tail though...

We're glad that the snow storm ended up not being a difficult ordeal after all.

And we think you have a lovely, girlish figure!

I love the comments and explanations here. Several said what I was going to say...it's the camera angle. That's what's wrong here too. Mom said I am getting chubby!!!! I say she is crazypants! Stop taking pictures from behind me! Case closed.

No snow, or not much, is grand in any land. And bah, just tell the human to get off the computer and play with you if she thinks your chubby.

Well I don't think you are chubby at all!!, Hooray for lack of snow storms!

Whew - we're so happy you are safe out there. At least the weatherman was good to you once he alarmed everyone. What's with this chubby stuff. I think all the humans have ganged up on all the cats - I get the same story here and so do all my other pals.

You are not chubby, you are cuddly! We are glad you didn't get all the snow you were expecting.

Glad your weather wasn't bad.
We've had our share of strange weather, well weather for us.
Very late in our season to be having freezes.

we should have mentioned to the Weather Service that Mrs. Whatsername ruined the snow storm for everyone by buying a winter hat, gloves and a snow scrapper for the car. We also had enuff candles and matches. Sorry 'bout that. next time, we'll remember to forget to prepare.
p.s. - where DID your Mom buy the clock?
p.p.s. - the clock is anorexic. you is beautiful.
