We are sure you have noticed what HUGE sports fans we are!
While we much prefer a good hockey game,
it is our home team playing in the Superbowl.

So before we sign off for the week,
we say, "Good Luck Ravens!"
Make all the Hons back home proud.
Raise those Natty Bohs on high!

We have to confess,
we kitties will probably sleep through the game.

Blankies waiting their turn in the washing machine work great!

On the subject of Spencer, the kitty from yesterday's post who is looking for a home, all we can say is WOW!  We've never gotten so many heated responses to any post.  We agree with everyone completely and don't understand how anyone can just toss aside a cuddly companion of 10 years.  It would have never occurred to us to relinquish a pet, no matter how long or short a time we had it.  We still have Julie, don't we?  (Hee, hee!  Just kidding!)

Julie's stink eye, still going strong.

We'd like to point out for those lovely peeps who are tweeting and posting about Spencer, many kitties live to 18 and 20 years old.  It seems like 10 is merely middle age.  So remind folks not let Spencer's age be a hindrance.  He could have many long years.

Thank you to everyone who posted and tweeted about Spencer!  Lets hope he finds a good home soon.

Please keep up the good tweets & posts, and everyone have a fantastic weekend!  Purrs from your furriends!  We hope those in the States enjoy the big game.

My human is going to Fry's to get a new modem on Sunday because she figures it will be empty, MOL!

Poor Spencer. Love him, hate his human for dumping him.

We prefer hockey, too, but superbowl snacks are OK with us!!

We are still purring for Spencer to find a loving home that will keep him forever, too. In the end, that's what is most important.

The Ravens are our home team, too, even if we're not "home" yet. (We're moving)
We'll probably nap thru the game, like you are, but keeping one eye on the dip!

Blankies just out of the dryer are even better! :)

Well, we'd like to play those Ravens ourselves...those birdies would make a nice snack! Hehehe.

We're purring that Spencer finds a new home soon.

Indeed, one of Kizzie's predecessors, Sadie, lived to be 21, and didn't come to live with us until she was 14.

Good luck to your Ravens! We are probably going to mostly watch the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet, instead! It even has a Kitty Halftime Show. :)

Hey, did you hear that Spencer found a home?

Hi friends! We just read your comment asking about details, re: Spencer being adopted. We read about it at Jan's Funny Farm -- it sounds like Spencer found himself a great home, where he will be loved forever. :)

Have a great weekend!

don't get me started about the guy giving up that gorgeous kitty. You know how I feel!
As for the Super Bowl...this is a rough one for me. I am pulling for the Ravens but it is a Catch-22.
Being from Cleveland I was living there when Art Modell TOOK THE BROWNS IN THE NIGHT to Baltimore leaving us WITHOUT football for FIVE YEARS.
Your "original" Baltimore Ravens were my "old" Browns.
Now I am in Michigan and do not want SF to win because they beat our Tigers in the World Series and in my opinion ONE Championship for ANY city per year is ENOUGH!
Sooooooo that is why I am pulling for the sure know how to get me going, don't you? lol

We don't have a *dog* in the hunt (as they say) for the Super Duper Bowl. But we will watch as Momma is a feetsball fan! We say may the best team win. Hooooo-rah!

We are purring for the best for Spencer and say someone needs to poop often on the purrson who thinks he is Spencer's Dad.

*we bet he got some very bad email responses*

Good luck to yer home team (and we will also say that to our SF friends), MOL!

And good luck to Spencer, too!

I am so happy...SO happy that Specer found a home. I HOPE he did. That was his Dad saying so?

We agree that giving up a loved cat after 10 years would never happen in this home.

Trade you our Rumpy for Julie, MOL.
