Welcome Back Wednesday

Hello, kitties!  We are FINALLY back!  We missed you and have been thinking of you.  We didn't get nearly as much done when we were off as we had hoped, but its time to be back.

Its been SO hot the WHOLE time!  The mom drew the curtains and we slept on them, after opening them back up a bit.
The cone flowers have gone from this . . .
  . . . to this.

A guy left his license plate embossed on the mom's rear when he rear ended her while she was stopped for a red light.  Yup, part of the image is missing cause the mom took the photo.

The mom has been battling a wasp determined to make her home between the storm door and our front door.  Sorry, no photos yet cause the nest is "active" and someone is a coward.  Its turned into an ugly fight.  We kitties would love to show the mom how its done, and we bet wasps are tasty, fun little morsels too!

MMM is continuing to mend, we hope!
She's been scratching some today.

Sadly, an uncle on her dad's side of the family passed away, and the mom's dad is now the last of his generation in his family.  There are only two left on her mom's side and its a terribly sad thing to watch a generation leave us behind.

The mom is trying to make up for lost time (as always) and is working on questions to send to Layla for a post on animal communication.  Queen Katie Isabella bestowed Carl with an award, and he is anxious to talk about that too.  So there is lots more to come!  We hope everyone has been well and had an enjoyable July.

It's so good to have you back. MMM is looking improved, which is really nice. Getting rear ended is less nice, but it was thoughtful of the person who did it to leave their license plate number with you as a keepsake!

The coneflowers are bootiful, ours are bloomin now too but the plants arent as lush this year.

We cant imagine better evidence than an embossed liscence plate.

Just wondering if a little aloe gel would help MMM stop rubbing the open spot...

I think wasps are such fun... for some reason, my human does not agree.

Hi there, pals! It's so nice to see you again. That license plate embossing on The Mom's bumper is crazy. We are glad she is okay!

It sounds like things have been ultra busy there, and hot just like here. Tell The Mom to be careful with that wasp. And to you kitties ... don't get any ideas about nomming it, okay? They sting, and it hurts!

MMM is looking pretty relaxed. We hope today's scratching is just an anomaly.

Yes, it is very sad watching a generation's numbers thin. It must be especially difficult for The Mom's dad. Please give him a hug for us, and know that we send purrs and prayers for your whole family.
